My knowledge base consists of stock market trading, mainstream and alternative medicine, nutrition, international cuisine, gardening, North American, South American, and European Literature and Art, and pottery. In order for me to determine the worthiness of Wikipedia, I read articles about the topics of which I am familiar, and decided that the topics were covered well. I started to make minor edits when reading Wikipedia articles for my own research as an non-logged-in user, and then decided to open a user account--so a very gradual embracing of wikipediadom.
