Gone Shootin' is the 7th song on AC/DC's Powerage album. The song was featured in the movie Beavis and Butt-head Do America.
The song, written by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, along with Bon Scott, is about heroin overdose.
In 2007, a studio version of Gone Shootin' with Brian Johnson was included on the second disc of Plug Me In. The footage was taken from a recording session in 1996 at London's VH1 Studios.
