Gonçalo Jardim Brandão (born 9 October 1986 in Lisbon, Portugal) is a young footballer contracted by Belenenses. He made is debut in the Superliga against FC Porto, scoring one goal, on 18 October 2003.[1] He went on a one-year loan spell at Charlton Athletic, during the 2005-06 season. Gonçalo Brandão is an aggressive player and is known for his temper.
On February 4, 2007 he played his first Superliga match for Belenenses against Vitória F.C. after returning to Portugal. [2]
