Gomia block

Gomia block, one of the six administrative blocks of Bokaro district, Jharkhand state, India, has a population (1991 census) of 201,989. The block is comprised of one hundred and forty five villages.

The Gomia block is a beautiful hilly terrain. It is mostly known by the ICI factory (previously IEL) Pitts Modern School which had by now produced more than 10,000 good students. The Important thing is that one can find its alumni all around the world. Once Head of Sahodya this School is one of its kind and among the best in India and abroad.
