From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I reside in Suburban Melbourne Australia and now go by the name Goldiemicky. I have been a long time user of Wikipedia, and WikiNews and decided to endeavor contribution from 2004-2005.
[edit] Wikipedian
My first step was to register an account on the 22th November 2005. At first, I was surprised to find a fair following of Wikipedians amoung people in Australia.

[edit] Freedom of Information
I am heavily interested in contributed to the free flow of information and discussion of ideas in society. If you look hard enough, you will find me attached to many media projects in my local area which I have started involvement.
[edit] Multimedia
Access to a wide-variety of media to complement articles, ie the wikimedia project, contributes in leaps and bounds to advancement of learning and research. I seek to discuss issues related to encouraging this.
[edit] Dogmatic Political Articles as Wikipedia Articles
A friend of mine suggested that Wikipedia is useless on controversial topics. It appears, as the world is today, that this trend, will continue on Wikipedia. A possible initiative to solve articles is to suggest that these articles are 'In need of an expert'. Not for expert knowledge on the topic necessarily (but still can deduce a basic understanding). That is to say that professional academics whom are familiar with the structure of information of encyclopedias, and the guidelines of Wikipedia. Finding these people (or becoming them) to help with the wiki project should be encouraged.
Later I will suggest articles related to this.
