I have rewritten the article significantly in order to explain why phi^2 golden angles fit in a circle. In the process, I added a algebraic derivation of the golden angle(without knowing phi) as well as a tidbit about the golden angle showing up in nature. Superm401 | Talk 04:46, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

Can anyone get an .svg showing the construction of the golden angle? That would make the concept clear immediately. (Nice proofs, Superm401.)  —Rafi Neal |T/C 02:06, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Good idea. I also changed the lead explanation to be hopefully more clear. Dicklyon 03:16, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
