[edit] national bird of Luxembourg?

Where does that information come from? I've never even heard of this bird (not in English, not in French and not in German, no idea what it could be in Luxembourgish).--Caranorn 17:50, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Apparently so. My information is from List of national birds. There are also numerous websites that corroborate. Its Luxembourgish name is the Dommendéckchen. Bastin 18:06, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
Odd, never heard of it by that name either. Though I haven't been bird watching for some 20 years, so it could be correct. Alternativelly it could have been picked by officials at some point but never was a popular symbol.--Caranorn 21:26, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
