Goldenrod (color)

Goldenrod is a color that resembles the goldenrod plant. A Crayola crayon with this name and color, although a lighter version, was created in 1958.

Dark goldenrod is a color that resembles the color Goldenrod, but is darker. The lighter form of Goldenrod is sometimes known as Flax, but is slightly different in color from flax.

- It has been suggested that the average skin color of the so-called "yellow" or Mongoloid race would be more accurately described as being goldenrod.
