Goldengatehenge is a semi-annual occurrence in Berkeley, California where the sun appears to set through the Golden Gate when viewed from the Sather Tower (the Campanile) on the U.C. Berkeley Campus. It typically occurs around Halloween and Ground Hog's Day. The alignment of the buildings on campus and University Avenue makes this occurrence particularly striking.
It has also referred to as The Magic Hour
