Golden State School of Theology
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Golden State School of Theology is an unaccredited bible college and seminary started in 1979 in Alameda, California and currently located in Stockton, California. It only offers distance education. Paul Graves is the current president.[1]
[edit] Accreditation
Golden State School of Theology is an "affiliate" member of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).[2] However, affiliate status is not accreditation[3] and does not imply that the school will become accredited in the future.[4] Golden State is not listed by ABHE as either an applicant or a candidate for accreditation.[5]
In July 2001, the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education gave GSST "religious exemption" from the "minimum" California requirements of higher education.[6]
