Golden Empire Council

The Golden Empire Council is one of the more than 300 councils in the Boy Scouts of America. The Golden Empire Council is in the Western Region of the Boy Scouts of America. The council covers 16 counties in Northern California: Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Selano, Shasta, Sierra, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo, and Yuba counties.

The Golden Empire Council was first chartered in 1920.
