Golden Boy is a character from the Wild Cards series of books. He is regarded, in the series, as possibly the strongest man in the world. His force field, which has a golden glow when active, grants him immunity from virtually anything. He is especially resistant to physical impacts, such as bullets and fists. Golden Boy does not age, and looks to be 22, despite being born in 1924. He was part of an organization called "The Four Aces" during the 1950's. Later, Golden Boy was forced to betray his colleagues to HUAC (the House Un-American Activities Committee), which earned him the nickname "Judas Ace."
