The Golden-crowned Woodpecker (Thripias xantholophus) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Kenya, Nigeria, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
