Goldegg im Pongau is a small village in the state of Salzburg in Austria. Its current population is 2216. The village is situated at a small lake, which is responsible for its German sobriquet Goldegg am See (Goldegg at the lake). Goldegg is famous for its Castle, which was completed in 1339. Today the castle is used for various cultural events like concerts, cabaret, seminars or workshops. Among other attractions are a ski lift and a golf course.
