Gold is a 1979 compilation album by Jefferson Starship. The tracks come from their 1974 - 1978 albums, Dragon Fly, Red Octopus, Spitfire, and Earth. The original record release also contained a single, "Light the Sky on Fire", that was recorded for the Star Wars Holiday Special, along with an extra track from Dragon Fly. This single is included in the later CD releases as tracks 6 and 12. The single reached #66 on the Billboard charts.
