Ratchet & Clank: Going Mobile is a Ratchet & Clank game designed specifically for mobile phones. It is also the first game in the series not to be released on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable, and was not developed by Insomniac Games or High Impact Games.

Ratchet and Clank are transported directly to player's cell phone via the MCGuFIN and have to fight their way back out. There are seven weapons available, and twelve levels (including an Arena). Finally, they have to defeat Maximillian, Secret Agent Clank's nemesis.
On their way out they can do the same things as in the preceding games. They can collect titanium bolts, upgrade weapons, and defeat enemies. An upgrade meter for weapons is not displayed however the HUD consists of (from left to right) an ammo meter, nanotech and bolt counter. The game is almost entirely devoid of sound bar the main menu and there are only about 5 different enemies.
