Goh Chi Lan

Mrs Goh Chi Lan is an educator in Singapore being principals of several schools and later to set up Singapore-based international schools, namely SJI International and ACS (International) Singapore. She was the senior educator when SJI International was approved and has since left the school. From January to September 2005, she was the former executive director of ACS (International) Singapore. She was appointed in June 2004, by the Board of Governors of ACS, at the same time with current principal, Rev Dr John Barrett. A renowned Singapore educationist, she was the principal of Temasek Junior College from 1986 to 1988 and National Junior College, from 1989 to 1995. She oversaw the redevelopment of NJC during her term as principal. She was one of the members of the fact-finding team which went to the United Kingdom and United States in 1987, with the then Education Minister Dr Tony Tan, to look at schools of excellence in both countries. From c.1998 or 1999 to 2003, she was the director of SEAMEO RELC, Singapore.
