Goessel High School

Goessel High School is a high school (grades 7-12) in Goessel, Kansas. Goessel High is located in Marion County, but also serves parts of McPherson and Harvey Counties.

Goessel High School has teams competing in basketball (boys and girls), cross country (boys and girls), football, golf (boys and girls), track and field (boys and girls), volleyball, and wrestling. The school competes at the 1A level in the Heart of America League.

In 1988 the Boys basetball team won the Class 1A State Championship.

Most recently, the Scholars bowl team of Matt and Chris Johnston, Stefan Henkel, Anthony Esau, Laird Goerzen, and Adam Meysing made it to the Kansas State Championship. This is the sixth consecitive year of success for the Scholars Bowl team.
