Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Goddesscomedia! My name is Kit, aka Todfox. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)

I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a nice day. Sincerely, Kit 20:43, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

p.s. I noticed you editting a Burning Man-related article. If you are a Burner yourself (the Big Burn or regionals), you can add yourself to Category:Wikipedian Burners. Just add [[Category:Wikipedian Burners]] to User:Goddesscomedia.

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:BS.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:BS1crop.jpg. The copy called Image:BS1crop.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot (talk) 23:59, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
