Gods on Voodoo Moon is the first recording and release by White Zombie, released as an EP in 1985 under their own indie label Silent Explosion. The cassette features the 2 bonus tracks, "Black Friday" and "Dead or Alive", which cannot be found on other versions of the album. The band only pressed 300 copies of the vinyl at Macola Records Hollywood, California, 100 of which were sold while the others are in the possession of the band members, but when asked about them, Rob's assistant Jodie mentioned that they had been water damaged while in his garage, and that they were thrown away. Despite this, Sean has made mention of having a box of them in storage. Also, Ena Kostabi claims to still have several copies, and even had the 7" re-pressed back in the day to send to record execs. Many fans consider this the finest (if primitive) recording of the band's career. It has been given underground status on the file-share networks for almost a decade now.
