God of Thunder (song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"God of Thunder" is a song by the heavy-metal group Kiss from their album Destroyer. Although not nearly as popular as the rest of Kiss's early material from the standpoint of various critics, the song became a huge live hit and has been featured prominently on many of Kiss's live albums, including an up-tempo, extremely well-received version on Alive II. Many various sound effects were used to make the song including explosions, clapping, zippers ,overdubbed audience chatter and screaming children. Ironically, although this song is known as Gene Simmon's signature song, it was written by Paul Stanley.
