God Save The Smithereens is the seventh album by The Smithereens. Produced by Don Fleming, it was originally intended to be a concept album based on the idea of the world ending as soon as the year 2000 started. The album was released in 1999 and a two-disc version with rare demos and live songs was released in 2005.
