Goals On Sunday

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Goals On Sunday is a British TV Show on Sky Sports 1 that shows highlights and analysis of Premiership and Football League matches. Shown on a Sunday morning, the programme is fronted by Chris Kamara and Paul Boardman. The show was formerly presented by Kamara and co-host, Rob McCaffrey, but for the 2007/2008 season, Clare Tomlinson was chosen to replace McCaffrey.

The show is largely popular for the guest analysts who appear on the show. These are mainly players, ex-players managers or ex-managers and they often exchange jokes with the presenters.

Tomlinson was axed from the show in October 2007 for failing to apoligise for an outburst from Derby County goalkeeper Stephen Bywater, who used a derogatory term, cunt live on air, and was replaced by Boardman.
