Go West is a 2005 Bosnian comedy drama film directed by Ahmed Imamovic. It tells the story of two gay lovers, one being a Bosniak and the other a Serb, during the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. It was developed jointly by two studios, one being in Bosnia and the other in Croatia.

Kenan, a Bosniak classical musician, and Milan, a Serb, live in Sarajevo and are in a clandestine gay relationship. When war breaks out in 1992 they try to escape the city, and in order to protect Kenan from Serb militiamen he disguises himself as a woman and Milan passes him off as his wife. They go to Milan's village in Eastern Bosnia, a Serb stronghold, where they continue with the deception. However, Milan finds himself conscripted into the army and Kenan is left behind. When a woman of the village, Ranka, discovers his secret she seduces him.

The film premiered at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival in May.

Go West was nominated for the Grand Prix des Amériques award at the Montréal World Film Festival, 2005. The film also won the audience award for the best film at the 2006 Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival in New York.[1]
"Go West" has received the prize for the Best Film at Madrid Móstoles International Film Festival, celebrated from 20th to 28th October of 2007.
