Go Real Slow

Go Real Slow was a pop punk band which formed in 1998. The group, hailing from Bordentown New Jersey, had a sound heavily influenced by bands such as Thrasher Brain, The Cum Cums, Dad's Hand-Me-Downs, and Evenesence. The band first signed with KPA(Keep Punk Alive) Records in Whitestone, NY in early 2000 and released their first album "13." This record sold a little over a half million records, making them the biggest "Trenton Area" pop-punk band to date, and able to draw pretty well at the Derby. Go Real Slow then signed with Springman Records in early 2001 and re-released the EP Thirteen. All of the members agreed that this was a much better idea than releasing new songs. "Bands always put out new songs, it just doesn't make sense to me.", expressed drummer Joe Boldizar in a 2001 interview with Maxim Magazine. The band broke up in late 2002 after singer/guitarist Chris Hindley was killed in a tragic magic explosion.
