- Used in Gotha Go 229 and Flying wing
- Google Images has a copy from a mirror of this site but nothing else - also the first 20 results of a google search for "Gotha Go 229" returned (from what I saw) no results containing the picture if that saves anyone time. The picture of it in Flying wing is unnecessary as we already have two but if it's really important I'm sure one of the many other pictures of the Gotha Go 229 could be found which abides by Wikipedia's rules. - Found on Yahoo image search. I'm not sure this clarifies copyright. [1] [2] --ChrisRuvolo 03:06, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- I suspect it's either a photo taken by the Germans, in which case it's ((PD-Germany)), or it's a spy photo taken by the U.S., in which case it's ((PD-USGov)). But if it's a spy photo taken by Britain, then I think it would be copyrighted. – Quadell (talk) (sleuth) 13:06, Feb 17, 2005 (UTC)
- It could just as easily be a press photo taken after the allies invaded and captured either an airfield or the manufacturing plant. --ChrisRuvolo 19:46, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

- "The Ho 229 V1 was captured at Leipzig. The Ho 229 V3, which was under construction at the end of the war, was also seized, and was subsequently shipped to the USA for evaluation." [3]
- I vote fair-old. It's probably either PD Germany, or PD-USGov, but if not it is used to illustrate the plane, an is not unreasonably large. I'd remove it from the flying wing article. — Zeimusu | Talk 09:36, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
