Gnathochromis pfefferi is a species of fish in the Cichlidae family. It is found in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia. Its natural habitats are rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, and inland deltas.
