It is believed that this image qualifies under fair use because:

• The image depicts the official corporate logos applied to the rear of the passenger trains described by the article.
• The service that used these logos was discontinued by the time of the Burlington Northern Railroad merger in 1980.
• Use of low-resolution versions of the logos does not hamper or dilute the copyright holder's use of the original image.
• No free alternatives are available.
