[edit] Brooke Shields

Hi, you seem to have removed rather a lot of the Brooke Shields article. Did you mean to do that? Dan100 (Talk) 14:31, July 27, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Mahalo...

… for your encouraging comments. Alas, like everywhere else, the Wikipedia community does harbor its share of folks who stay "dakine" in dey haid about Island topics. --IslandGyrl 00:24, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Naming Conventions for Hawaiian Monarchs

Hello, are you familiar with the Kingdom of Hawaii's monarchy? There's been a huge fuss lately over whether articles on Hawaii's monarchs are in the right location and there are some people who'd like to change the format used in naming the articles (e.g. one user wants to move the article Kamehameha I to Kamehameha I, King of Hawaii. We're having a (slow) discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Hawaii/Manual of Style#Names of monarchs, and as a member of WikiProject:Hawaii, your views on the conflict would be most appreciated. Thank you! 青い(Aoi) 09:03, 27 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Peer review

After having fixed and redecorated the article on The Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation, I am asking you to come and see it after you read its peer review page, which can also be found at WP:PR. I am trying to get this to featured status.

Please leave your comments on its improvement inside that page. I will be willing to respond if needed. (Hint: do you, or does anyone you know, have Leonard Maltin's Movie and Video Guide?) --Slgrandson 21:11, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Ivana Trump

I put bacj {{cleanup-tone}} template that you removed [1] some time ago. Unless there's some serious misunderstanding on my side just separating text into few section is not "cleanup-tone". Pavel Vozenilek 14:09, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Diamond Head, Hawaii

One of the pictures on the Diamond Head, Hawaii article is up for nomination to become a featured picture! You can see the picture here. Please add a supporting vote on its nomination page here or, more specifically, here, if you feel it's worthy. Thanks for your help! Cathryn 16:10, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Template:University of Hawaii

Hi. Please don't add extrnal links to intra-wiki navigational templates. Placeholders aren't really necessary, but if you think this one must be included, just put in the redlink to where the article will eventually be (a la {{University of California, Santa Cruz}}). Let me know if you have any questions on the UH template; I haven't gotten any feedback on that one yet. Thanks. --Dynaflow babble 02:51, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Aha, I knew I'd made an oversight somewhere in that template. For some reason I was using Honolulu CC's colors instead of the systemwide brownish color referenced here: [2]. I think I just went along with the color the previous version of the template came with. As for official (copyrighted) logos, we aren't allowed to use them in template space per the standard interpretation of WP:FUC. It forces us to be somewhat creative in template design, but the alternative arrangements template designers have come up with have usually been adequate for the tasks at hand (my particular subset of solutions is here: User:Dynaflow/Crap-I-Made). I tried putting the motto underneath the title bar in one of my early sandbox versions of Template:California State University (the prototype for this series of templates), but the result looked a bit too blocky. If you want to experiment with the template, by all means copy the code out to your sandbox and see if you can come up with something interesting. I can help you with any code- or layout-related questions you might have. --Dynaflow babble 04:14, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
I left a couple of things on your testing page. I also noticed you're from Michigan. I grew up in Berrien County. You? --Dynaflow babble 07:06, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Japanese Music Charts

Hi, I'm just writing to you to request your help and assistance in referencing the Japanese Music Charts. Through out alot of popular english songs I have viewed I have noticed that they have been noted as performing well in Japan and have also read that the Japanese music market it very big. But in saying this every song I have seen has not got a Japanese chart position in the charts box. So if you are into music and willing to try and provide information on the Japanese Music Charts it would be greatly appreciated so then wikipedia users can start adding the Japanese chart positions into the chart boxes for popular songs.
