Gmina Świerklany is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Rybnik County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the village of Jankowice Rybnickie, which lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Rybnik and 41 km (25 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice.

The gmina covers an area of 24.02 square kilometres (9.3 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 11,225.
