Gmina Środa Wielkopolska is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Środa Wielkopolska County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Środa Wielkopolska, which lies approximately 32 kilometres (20 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.

The gmina covers an area of 207.1 square kilometres (80.0 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 30,023 (out of which the population of Środa Wielkopolska amounts to 21,635, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 8,388).
