[edit] Accuracy dispute at rounding
Hi Greg. You removed rounding from the section "Accuracy disputes" at Wikipedia:Pages needing attention/Mathematics/Lists (diff). The reason that the page was there is that the phrase
- (Paragraph 17.5 of "The VAT Guide", HM Revenue and Customs Notice 700 says quite clearly: "You may round down the total VAT ... to a whole penny."
(near the bottom) is labelled as "dubious". For this reason, the script that maintains the page put rounding back in the list. I hope this explains the matter. Cheers, Jitse Niesen (talk) 09:22, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
