Glyptodontopelta mimus Ford, 2000 |
Glyptodontopelta (meaning "glyptodont shield") is a genus of dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous. It was an ankylosaur, an armored dinosaur. Fossils of Glyptodontopelta were found in the U.S. state of New Mexico.
The type species, Glyptodontopelta mimus, was described by Ford in 2000. It is a nomen dubium, based on the animal's armor only.
