[edit] Try some politeness
I've already discussed this on Talk:James T. Kirk, but I thought you should know that it was not my intent to school you on how to be more polite. I've been where you are now, and I thought I could literally send another editor weeping into a corner of their closet by editorially beating them senseless. At times, i think I actually did just that. However, that is really not accomplishing anything. We edit here because we like to - it isn't life or death, and Wikipedia is not a battleground. You need to learn how to work with others, even if you feel they have it all wrong, and help them to see your point of view. If you aren't patient enough to try that, you are likely going to grow very, very frustrated in the Project.
If I can be of any assistance to you during this process, please do not hesitate to ask. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 05:59, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
