I see no reason for both pages to exist, and I like the format of this one much better (term wikified with brief explanation). --CenozoicEra 23:24, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Category:Basketball terminology isn't an article, it's a category. Categories are a way to classify/group similar topics that have an article in Wikipedia. They are meant more for navigation than explanation. However, not every basketball term has its own page, (it's impossible to categorize non-existant pages), nor should it. This article serves as a more comprehensive list that includes both terms with their own article and terms without one. Punctured Bicycle 23:52, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Fair enough. I'll withdraw the request. --CenozoicEra 00:08, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Basketball terms describing Basketball terms

This glossary uses undefined terms to define other terms. An assist mentions '1 dribble'. What does '1 dribble' consist of? This is not defined anywhere. The definition for Center mentions rebounding, but there is no definition for what counts as a rebound.
