[edit] Magazine capacity
Is the actual magazine capacity as originally designed 10 rounds, or is that a figure from the limited-to-10-rounds-capacity american market? If I bought a Glock 37 magazine in Austria how many rounds would it hold? YourMessageHere 04:51, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
- 10 rounds as designed. The ban on high capacity magazines lapsed in the US, but a few states passed similar legislation. See Federal Assault Weapons Ban. Gront 07:32, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I just checked the glock website Glock.com (click magazines up near the top and then compatability on the left) and they don't make extended magazines for the 45 GAP pistols (37/38/39). 10 rounds is it for the 37, or eight for the 38, or 6 for the 39 (but the 38/39 can use the 37's magazine). So no factory 33 round magazines for the Glock 37. Gront 07:38, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] GLOCK vs. Glock
Discussion on this topic here. As of late there isn't much in the way of variety where the discussion participants are concerned, so I'm posting this as an FYI to those who maybe aren't watching the Glock article. Thernlund (Talk | Contribs) 00:09, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
