There must have been an AfD for this article was my thought as I read it. I was right, I just missed it. Anyway, despite it being referenced, there's something about it that makes me uncomfortable, from an encyclopedist's viewpoint. It's too short, it's hard to put it more succinctly. __meco 13:47, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

I think the trouble is that this is mostly a dictionary definition of a POV term, so I'm merging with Apartheid outside of South Africa, which describes how the term "apartheid" is so applied to various situations. If there's more content that would expand this article beyond a paragraph, it could be reconstituted. (Unless there's another related article with a more NPOV title the content could be added to.) -- Beland 20:02, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
