Description

Next to the Bristol Flyer pub on Gloucester Road, Bristol North Baths are pictured here in February 1999. The Baths closed in October 2005, and the premises are empty at present.

Fans of the BBC comedy series 'The Young Ones', may recognise the baths from the 1984 episodes 'Cash' (as the Police Station) and 'Summer Holiday' (as the "Fascist Pig Bank"). They were the location for the Police Station in the final scene of the 1988 Only Fools and Horses Xmas special 'Dates'.

The Bristol Flyer pub was also used in that episode as the Nags Head, in the scene where Del clocks Trigger taking a girl to dinner.
