Each House is named after a family or person with some close association to either the school or the Glossop area. Brothers and sisters are placed into the same house and all the teachers have there own house group. Mr Hart is in Lowry. The school has a bad reputation in Glossop, and some people ven go as far to say that the students are scum but this is simply un true. The tutor groups are split into vertical tutoring with year 7 and 8 students in one and 9,10 and 11 in another.
