Glory Lane (1987) is a science fiction novel written by Alan Dean Foster. The book takes place outside of either of Foster’s two usual universes, Spellsinger and the Humanx Commonwealth. This novel is long on humor and quirkiness, departing from Foster’s usual seriousness in his science fiction works.

Punk rock fan Seeth rescues a stranger from arrest at his favorite hang-out, the bowling alley, only to discover that the cops are killer aliens. Seeth soon finds himself on the run, not just on the streets of Earth, but among the stars as well. Along the way he is joined by geeky bookworm Kerwin and Valley girl Miranda and the trio quickly find themselves in the middle of an intergalactic battle. Foster goes all out to express the oddities of what other alien races consider normal but are truly strange to humans.
