The Globe (Hammond Carter) is a fictional DC Comics supervillain and enemy of Batman created by Paul Dini and Dustin Nguyen.
He is obsessed with maps and "plots crimes by latitude, longitude, time zones and the shape of landmasses."[1] Though the Globe has no superpowers, his massive bulk makes him a formidable opponent.
In Detective Comics #840 (March 2008), Batman finds the Globe when the Globe flees to Gotham with a jewel-covered globe stolen from the British Museum. The jewel-covered globe actually contains the locations of Ra's al Ghul's Lazarus Pits, and when Ra's al Ghul interrupts Batman's fight with the Globe, Batman uses the Globe as a distraction to escape from Ra's al Ghul's ninja henchmen.
