Global English UK is a distance learning provider of training courses in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). it is based in Exeter, Devon and offers several courses accredited by the Accreditation Council for TESOL Distance Education Courses (ACTDEC), the distance learning accreditation body in the United Kingdom for TEFL.

It was established in 1996^[1] and provides training courses for Smith's School of English in Japan for their franchises.^{[citation needed]}
