[edit] Talk:Jesus

Please understand, the consensus of BC/BCE and AD/CE is a compromise. As a compromise, it is a solution that both sides can live with. Realize that there are many, many more important issues to debate on; the fact that Christianity is still even acknowledged is a huge victory. As a believer, are you more interested in ensuring the Christian wording of an era system on a Wikipedia page, or spreading the glory of Christ to the world? Which is more important, a debate on the merits of a few letters, or the souls of the lost? Wikipedia is in the business of making an encyclopedia; the best way you can affect editors on this site is by becoming a well-respected editor in good standing, without being considered a "squeaky wheel" or a "malcontent."

Please understand, I do not disagree with your zeal or your passion. I just think it may be misplaced in this instance. Look at 1 Corinthians 9:19-23..."I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some." (v22) We're called to become a Wikipedian to Wikipedians. And stay faithful! Remember, we're in a marathon, not a sprint.

Grace and peace-
