[edit] Timeline of the case

I've been reading through the Manabu account and I'm trying to piece some bits of the timeline together. In particular, there's a mention in the Manabu account of the Shiga prefecture police superintendent setting himself on fire for bungling the case. I'm not sure if it's August of 1984 or 1985. It's mentioned that the Monster with 21 Faces issued his last message five days later. If so, this is likely August 1985, since the Shiga police interfered with the case on November 1984.

Also, I've ran into something via the timeline on the Yukio Mishima Cyber Musemum that the Glico-Morinaga case started on May 10th. Since there's a definite date set to the kidnapping, is the May 10th date the day Glico received it's first letter from the Monster? This definitely needs to be researched.--YoungFreud 20:20, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
