Glitter and Doom is the name given to the tour Tom Waits is undertaking in 2008. The tour was announced in a performance art press conference on May 5, 2008.[1]

Tickets for Waits's summer shows are limited to two per person but, in an effort to beat ticket touts, a valid I.D. (passport or driving licence) matching the name on the ticket will be required to gain entry. Any concert-goer who does not have a valid I.D. or is found to be in possession of a ticket that has been resold – electronic scanners are being employed – will not be allowed in and will not get a refund.
