[edit] Community of Christ edits
While making extensive extensive edits to the Community of Christ article, its focus is beginning to wander. Here are some things to consider in your efforts to improve the article: Wikipedia recommends a brief introduction, with details covered in the body of the article. You expanded the intro until it is larger than the overview section. Wikipedia articles should in general keep their size to 32 kB or less, with additional material going into subsidiary articles. The C of C article is now up to 38 kB. Please read up on the articles suggested in your welcome above, and also the Guide to writing better articles and the Manual of Style to familiarize yourself with WP community conventions. Also, external links should generally be kept out of the body of the article. I will demonstrate the recommended method of supplying such references inline, for display in a notes section. Best wishes with your continued contributions. --Blainster 21:59, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Article discussions normally take place on the article's talk page. I brought the subject up here so that you won't miss my message. If you place the article on your watchlist (click the tab at the top of the article), then you can keep track of any changes, and be sure to follow any discussion on the talk page. Religious talk pages sometimes get sidetracked into debates over doctrines and beliefs, but the discussions on Wikipedia should be limited to how to write a better article. --Blainster 22:26, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:SeaborgFamilyPortrait.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:SeaborgFamilyPortrait.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:07, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Redirect tag at Community of Christ
Please do not remove the redirect tag at Community of Christ - it is a necessary and proper disambiguation tool for Wikipedia readers. Thank you for your understanding. FCYTravis 02:37, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
The RLDS redirect to CofC is important as a navigation issue. As you know it does not reflect the naming preference of CofC, and should not be seen as such. The use of the redirect reflects the most common use of the term. Recently some Restoration Branch members have sought to use RLDS in reference to themselves, and the CofC legal department has been in communication with WP regarding that issue. The creation of the dab page was part of the resolution, so please do not change it. If you have questions about this please contact Bob Lewis at the CofC legal department. --Blainster 19:25, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 04:04, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cheville Chapel
Point taken, but I was also confused by the statement, "does not typically have a regular schedule of services." There are two regular services held in the Chapel on Sunday, and two more during the week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). --Dbolton 06:04, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ela Gandhi/Ghandi
Thanks for making the article Ela Ghandi. However, there is also one about her at Ela Gandhi, the real spelling of her last name. Could you move some of the information from your article into that article. I will then delete one and merge the histories into the other one. Also, the two articles have different birth years. Are you sure that yours is the right one?
Thanks. Academic Challenger 03:22, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- See the discussion on the Ela Gandhi page. We seem to have corroborated 1940 as her year of birth. Also, both spellings are used, but I think we may be best to conform to the popular spelling of her grandfather's name. Thanks Glenn4pr 04:19, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vasa Order of America
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Vasa Order of America, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
