Glennah Mugga, the artist formerly known as "Lenna G", is one of the most famous
scriptwriters in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. She has
written scripts for such masterpieces as "The Saga of Taz and
Krystal", "Snowcones", "Oh-the-new", and recently, "Ihatechu: A Love
Affair". Although she has been unfairly robbed of awards for these incredible pieces, Glenna knows she will one day receive the recognition she
deserves. She hopes her newest piece, entitled "Mini Me and the GP" will finally win her the praise she has worked her whole life for. Glenna has suffered
through many personal issues in her life, and was recently photographed having a gruesome argument with her pet Llama, Alex. Headlines
read, "Alex, eat the ham, not the lawn!", and even newspapers in Spain printed
stories with titles like "Alex, por favor, no comas el cesped!" But amidst all this turmoil and commotion, Glenna has stayed dedicated to her work. She
recently wrote a book for young children in her neighboring country of Uruguay, entitled "El Viaje De Sam A la Playa", which in English, translates
to "Sam's trip to the beach". In an interview exclusively with HGTV, Glenna
reveals how she came up with such a controversial subject for her children’s book. "I just really thought Sam's story needed to be told. Its a story of a boy.
But its more than that. Its a story of the beach, a story of folding chairs, a story of sunscreen. And at the end of the day, isn’t that what life's
all about? The sunscreen? I think so." Glenna's emotional and moving quotes have helped her fans relate to her in a way few other celebrities have
managed to achieve. For instance, one special fan of Glenna's wrote of how one of her inspirational quotes helped stop him from doing something very self
destructive. "I was going through a very rough time in my life. And so i decided i would just...i would just do the most terrible thing a person could
possibly do. And then, I went to Glenna’s website, www.glennaisthebomb.com, and I read something she said to a woman who asked her about her battle with
Cancer. And she said ‘Although I never have…ever suffered from cancer, nor has anyone that I’ve ever known, if I were to have cancer, I would probably…get
some treatment…for the cancer. I would probably go to the doctors. Yeah, I’d have to say, I would go to the doctors office.’ And then it hit me. If she
could get through a time in her life that hasn’t happened yet, and may never happen, then I can certainly get through my parents divorce and my uncles sudden
death. And I put the ham sandwich down, I took a deep breath in, and I went on with my day. And I can honestly say, its all because of Glenna. Thank
you, Glenna!” That pretty much sums up what Ms. Mugga is really all about: caring, creative and …..caring.
