[edit] What this is about

American Patrol is about getting rid of illegal aliens, criminals and terrorists, NOT about throwing out legal workers. What Glenn, others are advocating is that IF they're here legally, that they'll have:

NO criminal, racist, terrorist history.
NO involvement with terrorists, such as Al Qaeda.
NO dangerous diseases, such as AIDS,Bird Flu,parasites.
NO mental impairments, such as pedophilia, extreme violence.
NO ties to criminal, racist, terrorist groups of any sort, such as La Mecha,La Raza,MS-13.
NO chemical dependence.

The premise is that legal immigrants will NOT have to fret over health, security checks on his or her background, while a terrorist, criminal is kept out. Race, nationality, etc. is irrelevent. Bias is irrelevent. Racisim is irrelevent.

This is NOT being biased, this is hard, cold, steel logic.Martial Law 09:00, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

IF the US experiences another terrorist attack, it is likely that ALL illegals will be found and forcibly deported, due to the logical fact that the American people will be too angered/incensed at the attack to quibble as to who is innocent, who is guilty. Just hope that this does'nt come to pass. The recent 9-11 attacks nearly got the US/Mexico Border permanently shut down. I was out there in NM. myself when 9-11 happened. I've never seen anyone so outraged before, before or since the 9-11 attacks. A whole lot of "hardware" was revealed that day, and I'm not talking about a trip to the local hardware store. Rumor had it that there was private armies in the area or were in the area. I am no longer in that area.

In keeping w/ Wikipedia's regulations, especially for article improvement, anyone want to discuss this article ?Martial Law 09:02, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

Please remember that our job here is not to advocate for or against American Patrol. We're here to summarize verifiable, reliable sources about the subject using a neutral point of view. We should not try to decide whether the site and its webmaster are right or wrong. We should fairly describe what the site advocates without judging it ourselves, and also report what others say about it without judging that either. -Willmcw 10:09, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

That is the intent, no more, no less.Martial Law 10:27, 27 November 2005 (UTC) AgreedMartial Law 10:27, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

I'm glad we're all on the same page. Cheers, -Willmcw 12:16, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

Since when is it racist to deport any alien who has committed one or more criminal acts, such as pedophilia, terrorist activity, rape, robbery, murder ? Race is irrelevent. Nationality is irrelevent. There's no excuse for criminal behavior. The criminal activity is what people are concearned with. Other nations forcibly either jail and/or deport criminal aliens.Martial Law 21:35, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

I don't see what you're talking about. Where is the accusation of racism? -Willmcw 01:30, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

That is what I'm referring to when people accuse Glenn Spencer of this, such as being linked to alleged racial supremacists groups. Just seen a shocker of a racist statement on Glenn's site. It says that the American Hemisphere belongs to Latinos and Whites should get the (expletive) out and go back to Europe. Seen it in the Main section on 11-27-05.Martial Law 02:34, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

Here is a racist site that is making the outrageous claims, such as the one telling whites to get lost. It is http//:www.mexica-movement.org, and is found on Glenn's site AS a example of "racisim".Martial Law 02:56, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

So there are groups which Spencer is opposed to whom are racist - that has nothing to do with whether he is a racist or not. Racist groups and hate groups do not form a united front. Spencer and American Patrol have propagated propaganda which could be considered racist, xenophobic and occasionally anti-Semitic by many. The article mentions that Spencer denies being a racist. NPOV is very important to Wikipedia and articles should reflect both sides of an issue if possible.

Please sign your commentary. Martial Law 22:55, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

La Mecha? Are you talking about mecha? What does Glenn have to fear from a civil rights organization and why does he insist that immigrants have nothing to do with such groups or be threatened with deporation? La Raza is just an idea of empowerment so why does Glenn fear that too? Is this straight from Glenn's site? If so why does a guy who hangs around with neo-nazi's get all riled up about "uppity" hispanics? oh I know why...nevermind Mosquito-001 16:27, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
His contact info. is on his site. Please see below as to what he does. Martial Law 09:34, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

  • these are examples of what is on the American Patrol website, NOT racist, inflamatory, offensive material. He takes what is already in the public domain and posts these on his website. Sources are from TV,newspapers, the internet, radio. Martial Law 02:28, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Another example of what Glenn Spencer has posted. IF the US gets attacked again, the American People will respond negatively to any and all immigrants. Martial Law 20:41, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
I've seen Glenn's site and he uses it to post any kind of news that involved a crime by an immigrant. He will never post a pro-immigrant story. He also uses his site to slam civil rights organizations, civil rights activisits, and engage in racist conspiracy theories. Are you intentionally passing over this stuff on his website? Mosquito-001 23:19, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
As far as I've seen, its been about criminal matters, terrorisim. Did you know he recently pulled off a stunt that demonstrated how a terrorist, like a Al Qaeda agent, could bring in a WMD into the US, then set it off, say, for example, New York City, NY or Washington, D.C. ?
I keep trying to give American Patrol a chance but everytime I see something positive like this on Spencer's site, I see crap like his railings against civil rights organizations, his letter consisting of his idiotic hatred toward other ethnicities, his ranting against hispanic people that vote, and hispanic american culture. I am now convinced that Spencer is using the illegal immigration issue to push a white supremacist agenda. There are other immigration reform organizations out there, so I don't see why anyone would give Spencer's group the time of day. Mosquito-001 16:42, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

IF he is doing anything that is considered racist, list his site as racist/anti-immigrant along with that of the Ku Klux Klan and related organizations. He says he is not racist, only concearned for America's survival. Martial Law 04:28, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

American Patrol is listed as a racist organization on the list of hate groups. Glenn Spencer only says he is not racist but he makes no apologies for holding extremely racist views Mosquito-001 16:42, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Do you have Cable TV/satellite TV ? If so, tune it to the FOX News Channel, and if you think Glenn Spencer is bad, go to this site: Michael Savage's Homepage. That guy makes Glenn look good. Martial Law 04:10, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

There are some conservatives who think that being a liberal is a mental illness. Martial Law 04:12, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

As for me, I do apologise if I had offended anyone. I don't like politics at all, thus is one of many reasons why I'm interested in paranormal matters. Martial Law 05:07, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What Glenn does

All he does is post news taken from newspapers, the Internet, TV., radio and posts these on his website. Your local newspaper may feature some police action in which a illegal alien has been caught doing something wrong, then someone E-mails this matter to Glenn Spencer, and he, after verifying the matter, he'll post it on his website. Same applies to the Internet and TV and radio. Martial Law 09:07, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Matter of law

If I illegally immigrated to Mexico, what punishment would I recieve ? Martial Law 10:22, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

This is a matter of law, nothing more, nothing less. Martial Law 10:22, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

Regardless the article seems really npov and doesn't seem to take a stance either way. What changes are you suggesting? Mosquito-001 18:42, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm not. Just asking what would happen if I were to visit Mexico. I've seen the promotional ads on TV. What are the laws involved ? After all, I don't want to end up in jail. Martial Law 22:33, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
One reason I may visit is that I've heard about the strange phenomena going on, such as the recent UFO/alien activity, reports of La Chupacabra/Chupacabra in the area, also heard about the recent "Flying Humanoid" reports on this site:Jeff Rense Homepage He has, on his site, reports of videotape of bizarre creatures flying about. Some look like a fat R2D2(the fireplug shaped robot featured in the Star Wars franchise), while some look like demons in flight. Martial Law 22:40, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
They'd probably be pretty cool with you, as long as you don't try to enter the country with a gun. Mexico has some really strict gun laws. They have some really nice beaches and you can get pretty far just speaking English. Stuff is a whole lot cheaper over there too. I don't think you'll have to worry about Mexican patrol or anything of that nature either since people kinda live by the philosophy of "you do your thing, you let other people do their thing, and nobody gives a fuss." It probably isn't possibly for you to see a chupacabra since supposedly those things are in the mexican jungles and those are really out of the way places. The mayan ruins are pretty cool though and the trips to see them tend to cater to English speaking tourists. If you do go across illegally, don't smuggle anything in with you. Doing so is a crime on both sides of the border and Mexican prisons are horrible places to end up at. Mosquito-001 22:49, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
I would just like to add that this might be the spoiled american in me speaking but sneaking across the border to mexico sounds like a pretty cool adventure. You would have to take tons of water though, a GPS device, and like traveling through the desert. The only problems I forsee are running into either the U.S. or Mexican border patrol, drug smugglers, minutemen, drunk nativists who mistake you for Mexican illegal immigrants, or just plain self serving bandits. Okay those are a lot of problems...but what cool adventure isn't without its risks? Mosquito-001 22:56, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
All you have to do is use the North Star. Face South, which will place it behind you. Get a star map or look up the article north star. People have used it to navigate before there was even a GPS. Martial Law 08:36, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Let's kill these war rumors

Let's kill these war rumors before things get out of hand. Martial Law 02:35, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)

We don't need that going on here at all. Martial Law 02:38, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)

The only "rumor" here is that Glenn Spencer and his organization have any credibility left at all. I often wonder how a guy(Spencer) who cannot talk about hispanics without spewing out idiotic racist crap can have his finger on the pulse of the hispanic public and thus know about some kind of upcoming race war.Mosquito-001 03:32, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
Tell me about it. I have once found a magazine in a hospital waiting room (had a family member who was serverely ill ) and it had similar overtones in it. The guy interviewed claimed that while he was in school, he was bullied by Mexicans. Sick stuff. I was "Out West at that time. In that area of the US, even the bugs carry weapons. it's that bad. Martial Law 06:24, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)
How can people be soooo stupid ?! Martial Law 06:42, 15 April 2006 (UTC) :)

[edit] I have tried only to clarify, and temper the anti-Spencer tone of the article

The referece to VCT and Prop 187 is historic fact and puts Spencer into context better. Only the Justice Department can officially call a group a "Hate Group", or even "Racist", I have toned down the positions of the two liberal activist watch dog groups to be somewhat more subjective, but their point is still made. It serves no purpose to go from one extreme to the other in editing such a controversial subject. Honestly, I tried to strike a realistic balance with my edit.Nuetralwordman

You "clarify" and "temper" the article by cutting out relevant information about Glenn Spencer so that he looks like some kind of even tempered moderate on the issue of immigration. Previous versions of the article tried to not come out and call Spencer the white supremacist that he is. Those articles merely let Spencer's words speak for themselves, which I thought was a good tactic. I'm not saying you did any of this on purpose but I don't think you researched your edit very well before going through with it. For example: you cut out a section on Spencer and his diatribes on race wars when a link and other information was provided to back it up. I do hope you'll continue to contribute to this article but in the future but I also hope you don't get caught up in labels like "conservative" and "liberal" too much.Mosquito-001 16:11, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Aztlan Promotional material

Find on his website small depictions of a map of what he calls Aztlan on his website. Clicking on this reveals that this is promotional material that is being sold on site. It is allegedly on a CD, depicts Aztlan and what he claims is going on. Martial Law 05:19, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Some of the depictions are in his archives. Martial Law 05:32, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] anti-immigration?

Spencer is referred to in the opening paragraph as an anti-immigration activist, when he is an anti-illegal immigration activist or at most an immigration reduction activist. TheKaplan 04:45, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

I checked his web site tonight dated: Sunday, August 20, 2006 - 6:35 PM

First story concerns the boarder patrol/national guard relationship.

Second story links to a newspaper article concerning Hispanic immigrants.

"Jackson Clarion-Ledger
Hispanic laborers [read: invaders] boost businesses

Biloxi, Miss. -- The new immigrant population on the Mississippi Gulf Coast could not only spawn more Hispanic- owned business but also give a significant boost to the ones there. -- One business seeing a surge of new patrons is El Rancho Bar & Grill in Biloxi, which features a fare of enchiladas..."

The word Hispanic is high-lighted, and links to this: Translation: Illegal aliens (criminals by definition). The story talks of Hispanic immigrants who own business in Biloxi, LA. The article never says, nor implies that the business owners are illegal immigrants. It is strictly Spencer’s spin that because they are Hispanic, they must be illegal-aliens.

The third story is on Clolorados new immigration law.

The Fourth story is a link to an editoral contained on Spencer’s web site tiltled: Is Attorney General Alberto Gonzales an anchor baby? He won't say! This questions whether the Attorney General of the United States is in fact a US citizen, and concludes in the end that he is not.

…His unusual association and relationship to this president, and perhaps to the bush family - raises questions about his own legal status - …
…his unknown lineage raises serious concerns about his willingness and his desire to act as an objective broker for the people of the America, …
…one might want to ask the president if he can really trust the judgment and the advise of a person who appears to be deeply fearful of revealing his true status…
…Alberto Gonzales - like so many other Hispanic, non-citizen politicians of anchor baby decent - are engaged in the political takeover and the cultural rape of this nation. …
…by individuals like Gonzales who have reasons to keep their true identities secret…

(Non-citizen was placed in bold text by me for emphasis, but was not in bold text in the original.)

No one other then Spencer referred to or suggested that the Business owners in Louisiana are illegal aliens; however, Spencer directly linked the word Hispanic to: Translation: Illegal aliens (criminals by definition). The editorial on Spencer’s own web site refers to the Attorney General of the United States as a “non-citizen”, implying that Gonzales is an illegal alien. Spencer is clearly an anti-immigration activist.

Brimba 09:36, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
The stories you refer to do not show an anti-immigration philosophy. The first one is not about the business owners but rather about how their businesses are booming because of an increase in illegal immigrant cutomers. The second one just shows that Spencer is against birthright citizenship in the case of children born to illegal immigrants, as are many anti-illegal immigration activists. As I said, he could probably be called an immigration reductionist, like FAIR, but not anti-immigration. Happy editing, TheKaplan 16:48, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] tac-ops

Are we sure that the tac-ops thing isn't just a joke from the merchandise page? A lot of online stores have jokes in their products and product summaries (compare to the shirt that says "undocumented border patrol agent", etc). Thats how i interpereted it when I first saw it on the merch page. TheKaplan 04:52, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

It’s presented as a serious item, anything beyond that is speculation and needs to be sourced. Brimba 08:06, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
