http://buperscd.technology.navy.mil/bup_updt/upd_CD/BUPERS/Register/naval_register.html lists Brindel, Glenn Richard as retiring as a Captain October 2, 1990 with a date of rank of January 1, 1987. That doesn't seem to track with the New York Times ref I used which said he retired at Commander due to lack of time in grade. Does anyone have anyone have any other sources on this? --Dual Freq (talk) 03:29, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
