Glen Roy Rohrer

Glen Roy Rohrer, Sgt. of U.S. Army, who in August 1965 deserted into communist Czechoslovakia and was subsequently used as propaganda puppet by its communist regime. In a book "Naked sphinx" (1976) by the Czech regime press he was presented as "American military intelligence officer" - while in fact he was working only as a technical personnel on lie detector. He died under suspicious circumstances in June 2003, his ashes were scattered on Malvazinky cemetery in Prague, without even notifying his family.
